Great for small game hunting and also an option for self/home defense. This cartridge uses a match grade, 55 grain Hornady V-Max bullet. The V-Max is designed for maximum expansion and rapid fragmentation upon impact. While this bullet has incredible expanison, it does not penetrate as much as traditional hollow point bullets. This limited penetration also makes it a good candidate for home defense, where you don't want over penetration. Whatever you end up using it for, this bullet won't disappoint.
